    Billing

/dashboard/billing is where you manage your plan, payment method, and invoices. Plan prices, plan names, and quota numbers depend on your plan and aren’t listed here.

    Plan

Shows your current plan, its status (Active, Trial, Payment issue, or Cancels at period end), whether you’re billed monthly or annually, your plan’s limits (projects, documents per project, conversations, whether voice chat is included), and when your plan renews or ends. If your plan isn’t self-serve, this card says so and points you to contact support instead of the picker below.

If a payment couldn’t be charged, a banner at the top offers to update your payment method.

    Payment method

Your card is stored with Stripe, not by Qafka directly. Manage opens the Stripe billing portal, where you update the card, and is also how you change or cancel an existing self-serve subscription.

    Change plan

For self-serve plans, pick a plan and a billing interval (Monthly/Annual) and select Upgrade / Renew — this starts a Stripe checkout. A plan may offer a free trial (“Start free trial”) instead of an immediate charge. If you already have an active subscription, changes go through Manage (the billing portal) instead of this picker.

    Live minutes

If your account uses metered voice minutes, this section shows your current balance, lets you buy additional minute packages, and lets you turn on automatic top-up (buy a package automatically once your balance drops below a threshold you set) using a saved card.

    Invoices

A table of past invoices with date, amount, and status, each linking to the hosted invoice. Only shown once your account has a Stripe customer record.

Active projects after a plan change

If your plan’s project limit is or becomes lower than your project count, the dashboard asks you to choose which projects stay active, at /dashboard/projects/active-selection.

    • If you’re over the limit right now — right after a downgrade, or once a scheduled cancellation actually takes effect — and you hadn’t already chosen which projects to keep, every currently active project is suspended at that moment. You then pick which ones to reactivate; once you save, only those stay active, and the selection is locked for the rest of the billing period — upgrading is the only way to change it again before then.
    • If a cancellation is scheduled for a future date, a dashboard-wide banner appears as soon as it’s scheduled (even before it’s clear you’ll actually be over the limit) linking to this page. You can pick and re-pick which projects should stay active up until the cancellation date; nothing is suspended yet. If you never pick, every active project is suspended once the date arrives, same as above.
    • Selecting a sub-project requires its parent project to be selected too — the assistant on a sub-project is unavailable whenever its parent is suspended, regardless of the sub-project’s own state.
    • A suspended project stops answering — the assistant becomes unavailable to its end users — and its dashboard pages become read-only, but its data isn’t deleted. You can still delete a suspended project outright; reactivating it (by upgrading, or by reselecting it) is otherwise the only way back.
